Dia de los muertos or Dia de muertos (Day of the dead) is a Mexican holiday were pray and remember family and friends who have passed away. On this day November 2nd we build altars with flower, food, sugar skulls and pictures of those who have passed. It is believed that on this day those who have passed come back  to visit us and that is why we build altars with the person favorite things and food for them to enjoy and over all is a day of celebration.

This is actually my first time dressing up for Dia de Los Muertos and I think I should do it every year it was fun! maybe next year I'll come up with something more elaborated.
